City Tour: Cheaper way to explore Puerto Princesa, Palawan

To make this happened; we rented a van instead of availing individual City tour package for four. By doing this, our City Tour expenses will be lesser compared to the individual City tour package.

Instead of paying P 600 per head in most of the Travel Agencies who are arranging itinerary for City Tour and providing a van for transportation, I made a Do-It-yourself Itinerary and rented a van that cost P 390 per head! We discounted almost half of the expected price!

I listed the places we wanted to see in the Do it yourself Itinerary on above table and showed it to the driver.

Rent-A-Van for Puerto Princesa, Palawan City Tour

After Kuya Yong (owner of the pension house) drove us from airport to Ka Inato for our lunch, he provided us a van-for-rent afterwards. He contacted Bro. James who fetched us in Ka Inato and took us to tour. Bro. James Bugay is the driver of the Van accredited by Palawan Tourism. We called him Bro. James because along the way, we’ve discovered that he is a co-Christian who actively involved in Church ministry. The van rental that costs P 1500 is good for 4 hours tour to anywhere we wanted. We started the tour 2:00 PM and when it was already 6:00 PM (which supposedly our end time), he still brought us to the remaining destinations we haven’t gone through.
If you are looking for a Van for rent with driver, then I recommend Bro. James Bugay. He is very nice and accommodating with lots of knowledge shared. If you are interested for his service, kindly comment here and I will send you his contact number to avoid bogus texters.

If you will travel with less than 6 companions and you want a WORRY-FREE tour, it is more recommended to get the per head package. The inclusion are same as above.

We'll be staying in El Nido overnight but before going there we wanted to explore Puerto Princesa first and try the underground river. We are 7 in a group and is in a tight budget.       Hi !
      Good to know that you'll be exploring Philippines with your friends. Since you are 7 in a group, It will be cheaper if your will just rent a van for City Tour. That will only cost the 7 of you P 1,500 instead of paying 600 per head. That will cost you BIG savings! Plus minimal cost for crocodile entrance fee.

    Thank you for sharing this. Initially, I wanted to do a DIY trip to the Underground River but if it is much of a hassle, I'd prefer doing it with tour packages. Your Underground River package is cheaper than fixing it with tours in our accommodation. May I know the details of the package? And if it the van could fetch and bring us back to our hotel.
