Boodle Feast by the Bay : Seafood Island

by - Monday, February 23, 2015

Originally, we planned to eat in Vikings, unfortunately, when I called the reservations, it was fully booked. We ended up with full bloated stomach in Seafood Island. Trying out a different taste, this is what I wanted. “A taste of Filipino dishes”. We ordered Tali Beach boodle feast for P 965. This is good for 3-4 persons.  Nothing so special with the taste. I am not sure if this is only due to how this branch cooked it because when I read other reviews and photo, it seems that the dinners were happy about their order in Seafood Island. I just assumed that I am just being more critic because I already tried better than this.

This Tali Beach Boodle is kinda attractive though. It is served like you are really in the beach. Grills are hanging on a big stick. Bamboos are arranged like you were really grilling your food.

This consists of Chicken Inasal, pork bbq, tilapia, steamed shrimp, grilled tilapia, grilled tahong, grilled crab, ensaladang manga, bed of rice and sliced watermelon.

The serving comes with banana leaves as alternative to plate but don’t worry because you can also request for plate and utensils.

To be fair with, we were satisfied in terms of being full and the experience of eating a boodle in the City. Actually this was really fun though, if you want to try out something new in terms dining experience with friends and have rest from eating in a luxurious buffet, try this! Me, I won’t mark this experience in Seafood Island as a “No” “No”, I’ll give them a chance some other time. I’ll give it another try in a

nother branch. Then if the food quality is still the same, oh sad! Then I would not recommend it anymore.
